After the venue
The venue is booked. Guests still need a URL.
The next questions are always the same: where do we send people, what do they eat, where do they stay, and what should they buy. Put that on one site instead of a WhatsApp thread that dies in August.
What belongs on the site
Date, ceremony and reception, timings, hotels, taxis, meals, RSVP, gifts, and a password if you want it private.
What belongs in the dashboard
The guest list, table plan, budget, and the board you share with your partner. Same login as the website.
When to pay
Build it now. Pay £249 when you are ready for guests to have the link — usually when save-the-dates go out.
Questions
- Do we need a website if we already use Bridebook or Hitched?
- Those apps are good at finding a venue. They are not a guest website with meals, a table plan, and a gift list. Most couples use both kinds of tool — one to book, one to run the day.
- Can we keep it private?
- Yes. Optional site password. Off by default. Guests unlock with a cookie, no account.
